Why we exist
We'd rather earn your trust than ask for it.
Plenty of comp tools hand you a number and expect you to run with it. We'd sooner show our work. Every payout traces back to the exact deals and the plan version that produced it, carries its full arithmetic, and lands on the same result every time it runs. How a number was reached is never hidden from the rep who earned it or the finance lead who signs off on it.
That consistency is the whole idea. A payout you can re-run and get the same answer. A statement a rep can read top to bottom. An audit trail that explains any number long after the period closed. Run your own spreadsheet alongside it if that puts you at ease, though after a period or two most people stop feeling the need.

A rep logs in whenever they want and sees exactly where they stand: every credited deal, the rate applied, each accelerator and clawback, and where their payout is headed. No pinging finance, no waiting on a manager. If a number looks off, they file a dispute right from the statement. It puts them in control of their own pay.
Honest pricing.
One published price for your team size, with no per-seat math, no platform fee below the fold, and no line item you didn't expect. Any comp tool that hides its price until a sales call is telling you how it'll treat you.
Where this comes from
This isn't our first calculation engine.
PayoutEngine comes from engineers who've built and run production financial-calculation systems, the kind where a wrong number means real money out the door. We know the discipline that takes: exact math, checks that catch a bad number before anyone's paid on it, and a clear record behind every result. A commission engine is the same problem in different clothes, and we're building it the same way.
